Hello ! My name is Aurélia. I am a certified teacher and a native French speaker. After getting the certification from the CAVILAM – Alliance Française “Enseigner le Français langue étrangère aujourd’hui », I started to give live online French classes in 2018.
Master’s degree in Marketing & International Project Management
I had the chance to meet a multicultural environment starting from primary school and I was used to listening to various languages at my friends’ house : Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Polish, Chinese, Italian. And I already loved that. Speaking with natives is the most efficient way to learn a language !! I have been learning English at school but more efficiently spending summers in Dublin and Vancouver when I was a teenager. Then I headed towards Marketing and International Project Management studies in Paris, which led me to live for 6 months in Bangkok and 3 months in India, where I was studying Business Administration. I worked for multinational companies in Paris for some time before flying to the US to refresh my English, 3 months in New York and Miami. Back in France, I spent 3 years in a ski resort working in Hospitality Management, hosting more than half of foreign clients.
Lately, I have passed the TOEIC and I obtained a C1 level in listening & reading, and a B2 level in speaking & writing.
French exam preparation
Since I work as an online native French teacher, I have taught French to professionals of Singaporean Ministry of Education, Luxembourgish Ministry of Agriculture, embassies, international organisations such as MSF, ICRC, dental surgeon, retired teachers, doctor, …
I have also prepared many learners to the DELF-DALF exam and TCF exam. I can’t wait to help you improve your skills and feel more confident when speaking or writing in French.
Teaching in higher education
I also teach in class computing skills to University students, as well as financial analysis, economy, law and management to 1st-year students, preparing to take the exam “BTS”.
Therefore, I can easily prepare you to take the exam called “Diplôme de Français Professionnel” (DFP) by the Chamber of Trade and Industry, which is designed to show your language proficiency according to your professional background. You can choose wether to take this exam in business, international affairs, health or tourism&catering.
Also, I have recently expanded my training to the CAP AEPE and occasionally work as an activity leader in holiday camps for children and teenagers.
