What means DFP ?
DFP stands for Diplôme de Français Professionnel. It is a diploma from the CCI (Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie) to show your proficiency in French in your business area. The DFP can be taken in 4 fields, such as Business, International Relations, Health or Food, Beverages, Hotel & Tourism. You will thus show your employer that you are able to work using French language. This certificate will stay valid all your life and can help to stand out if you are willing to work abroad or in a multicultural company.
Who can take the DFP exam ?
Any French user, whether you are still a student above 16 years old or a professionnal, can take the DFP. However, you will have to get at least a B1 intermediate level before taking the DFP in International Relations or in Health.
The DFP is widely known by universities and business schools worldwide. The DFP is also recognized by many European countries, such as France, considering an application for residency or naturalisation.

How to prepare for the DFP exam ?

What means TCF IRN ?
TCF IRN stands for Test de Connaissance du Français – Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité. The TCF IRN will last 1 hour and a half and will evaluate your French knowledge in 4 skills : written & oral understanding, writing & speaking. This test is specifically requested for any application of long-term visa, residence or French nationality. On the counterpart, your results to the TCF will be valid for only 2 years.
Who can take the TCF IRN ?
French learners above 16 years old are allowed to register to take the TCF IRN.
How to prepare to the TCF IRN ?

Also, the TCF is slightly different from the DELF, DALF and DFP, as you will not have to register for a level. The subject is the same for everyone, then your results will determine your level.
